How to test the solenoid valve for the lifting stacker
The following article describes how to test the solenoid valve located on the lifting stacker. If you are able to follow the test in its entirety and air is only coming out of the hose when the dial is positioned as specified below, then the solenoid valve is functioning properly.

Test each solenoid valve as follows:
Test air coming out of port 4
- Push the blue compression ring upward and gently pull the red tube out of the solenoid.
- Manually activate the valve by using a #0 flat screwdriver to turn the blue dial (Figure A) to the horizontal position.
(Figure A) - Verify that air is only coming out of the valve when the dial is horizontal; if not, the valve is not working properly and should be replaced.
- Turn the blue dial back to the vertical position and gently push the red tube back into the solenoid.
Test air coming out of port 2
- Use a #0 flat screwdriver to turn the blue dial (Figure A) to the horizontal position.
- Push the blue compression ring upward and gently pull the blue tube out of the solenoid.
- Manually activate the valve by turning the blue dial to the vertical position.
- Verify that air is only coming out of the valve when the dial is vertical; if not, the valve is not working properly and should be replaced.
- Turn the blue dial back to the horizontal position and gently push the blue tube back into the solenoid.
- Turn the blue dial back to the vertical position.
Pressure test
Uneven pressure on both ports signals a malfunctioning valve requiring replacement.
