    (Figure A)
  2. Verify that the reflective tape directly below the sensor is in good condition; if not, replace the reflective tape.
  3. Verify that the primary entry sensor is aligned correctly and both the middle and right lights on the sensor are lit; if not, using a hex key loosen the screws holding the sensor then readjust until the projected signal is visible on the reflective tape and both lights on the sensor are lit.
  4. Verify that the primary entry sensor is set to maximum sensitivity by following the video linked below.
10098.1: Adjusting sensitivity and L/D mode
  5. Verify that the sensor cable is tightly secured by turning the cable connector clockwise (to the right).
  6. Verify that the sensor cable wires are properly inserted in the terminal strip located to the right-hand side of the front panel; if not, reseat the connections by inserting a #0 flat screwdriver at an upward angle in the square hole located directly above each wire to release the wire clamp. Once the wire is unattached, verify that all strands of the wire are grouped close together and re-insert the wire before removing the screwdriver.
🗈 Refer to schematics to locate connection points.
🗈 Any wire strand that is not properly inserted back into the wire clamp can cause a short. Be sure to tightly twist all strands before re-inserting.
  7. If all of the above troubleshooting steps are complete and the problem is not resolved, then replace the primary entry sensor.
